Storyteller powers vertical video on owned & operated platforms for the world’s biggest sports brands—think stories, reels, and swipeable clips inside your app and website (iOS, Android, Web, CTV). Our SDKs, CMS, and automation tools help rights holders drive engagement, capture first-party data, and unlock new sponsor inventory. We’re trusted by global names across leagues, teams, and broadcasters—delivering live moments, highlights, and sponsor-ready experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Open doors & build pipeline with athletics departments and their commercial teams—from first outreach to signature.
Run full-cycle sales: discovery → demo → proposal → close, collaborating with internal Solutions and Customer Success for smooth handoffs.
Map game-day and content workflows and align where Storyteller’s in-app and web placements fit best.
Demo our SDK + CMS with narratives around engagement, first-party data, and sponsor value.
Launch programs that include in-app placements from day one, then expand accounts
Multi-thread stakeholders across athletics leadership, digital/creative, and commercial to keep momentum.
Tell the story with data: capture outcomes (views, completion, taps to tickets/donations/merch) and turn wins into references.
Stay crisp in CRM and communicate progress, risks, and next steps clearly.
Qualifications
You’ll Thrive Here if You:
Understand how college athletics tells stories today and how those stories should live inside the school’s app and site.
Are a coachable presenter who writes tight outreach and can handle a room (or Zoom).
Enjoy building: new relationships, new plays, new references—fast feedback, low ego.
Are organised, curious, and energised by a modern sales stack and a product that genuinely solves problems
Nice to haves
Experience inside an athletics department, a media-rights environment, or a sports tech vendor.
Familiarity with common college app/CMS ecosystems, ticketing and giving flows, and basic ad-ops concepts.
Examples of pilots or programs you helped take from idea to live.
