Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager at Storyteller, you will be responsible for the seamless delivery of projects from post-sale through to launch and the initial period of live operation - plus the active improvement of our delivery processes to improve client satisfaction. 

What you can expect: 

  • Taking ownership of delivery projects and becoming deeply familiar with the clients you are delivering for 

  • Initiating delivery projects, aligning plans with client expectations and business objectives

  • Running onboarding and discovery calls, helping to define requirements and guiding clients through the process of integrating our product 

  • Controlling schedules, tracking milestones, and adjusting timelines as necessary using tools such as Jira and Airtable 

  • Maintaining transparent client communication, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting scope changes effectively 

  • Reviewing client integrations to ensure they are to spec, and feeding back issues clearly to client integrators and internal engineering teams 

  • Running CMS training with clients to ensure they can use the platform effectively 

  • Managing post-launch support and ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Success 

  • Working cross-functionally, with most projects blending tech, product, and content 

  • Proactively identifying problems, generating options, and contributing to decisions to keep delivery moving 

  • Using AI and internal tools to support delivery (for example summarising calls, drafting specs and tickets, analysing integration behaviour, and improving documentation and playbooks) 

  • Contributing to continuous improvement in how we deliver Storyteller — including processes, templates, documentation, and standards 

Qualifications

What we’re looking for 

  • Experience delivering or managing web-or app-based projects (including through internships, graduate roles, or early-career positions), ideally in B2B SaaS, sports, media, or a fast-moving agency/startup environment 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders 

  • A high ownership mindset - you take responsibility, figure things out, and see them through

  • Strong problem-solving skills and growing confidence making decisions with imperfect information 

  • A genuine interest in technology and AI, with experience using AI tools and effective prompting to support workflows and outcomes 

  • Strong attention to detail, with a high bar for quality and clear documentation 

  • Comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Airtable, Linear, Asana, Monday, etc.) 

  • Reliable internet connection for remote work 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with SDK, API, or mobile app integrations 

  • Experience running requirement or specification processes with external stakeholders 

  • Experience working with US and UK clients across time zones 

  • Interest in sport and an understanding of how sports organisations think about digital products
