Managing Stories

Within the Stories section of the CMS, you can view and make changes to all of the Stories created.

Stories Index

All of the Stories created are listed in the index view. The index view displays the following information for each Story:

• Title

• Pages Preview

• Categories

• Last Modified - date/time

• Status - either Draft or Published

• Live From - date/time

• Ends - date/time

The Stories in the index view can be sorted by any of the above elements.

You can page through the index to view each of the Stories created or use the search bar at the top of the index to find a particular Story by title, quickly and easily.

Alternatively, you can filter Stories using the Categories tab, status selection tab or date picker. This allows you to filter Stories by their scheduling information, or by publication status: draft, scheduled, live, and past.

Editing Stories

To edit a Story, click the ‘Edit’ button in the row of the Story you want to make changes to. After clicking Edit you will be able to:

• Change the Story’s title

• Add new Pages

• Edit Pages

• Reorder Pages

• Delete Pages

• View the Story preview

• Edit Categories

• Change the Story’s start and end date/time

• Change the Story's icon and thumbnail

Unscheduling Stories

You can remove a scheduled Story from the schedule, or published (live) Story from the app, by clicking 'Remove' in the 'Publishing' tab of the Story Editor, next to the Categories that the Story is in.

• It is therefore also possible to remove a Story from one Category and leave it in another.

Removing a Story from all Categories will convert it into a draft.

Deleting Stories

To delete a Story in the list view, click the delete button in the row of the Story you want to delete.

After clicking the delete button, you will be given the opportunity to abort the deletion by clicking ‘Cancel’ or confirm it by clicking ‘Yes, Delete'.
