Personalization
What is Personalization
This allows you to show the most relevant content to your users first based on their preferences. For example, you might want to personalise the order of the “Top Stories” row so that any stories relating to a user’s favourite team appear at the start of the row.
How to use it
Go to your tenant and select the Schedule menu
Open the Category you want to personalise the Stories of e.g. Top Stories
Select the dropdown for “Personalised Ordering Property” to choose how you want the stories to be ordered by - in this example, we’ll set it to “ProductInterest”
The logic here is as follows:
Look at the Personalised Ordering Property
Get the value for that property for the user in question (for example, “Technology”)
Look at all the stories in the category and find any with that category (in the example below, this would be the “Thursday’s Top Tech Releases” story)
Bring those stories to the front of the row in the ordering when viewed by the user in the app
