Getting Started

Studio has three main panels:

  • Element panel (left hand side) - use this panel to upload assets, add images, text, shapes, stickers and Page templates.

  • Workspace area (middle) - use this panel to add and remove Story Pages, layer assets/elements, switch between Story Pages and view all Story Pages in a grid view.

  • Design panel (right hand side) - use this panel to modify properties related to selected media/elements e.g. position, size, font. You can also change the order of layers in this panel too.

Keyboard Shortcuts

To view keyboard shortcuts, click on the keyboard icon at the bottom left of the Workspace.

Managing Pages Within Studio

Adding a Page: Select the circular + button at the bottom of the Workspace or right click on the Page (ensuring no media is selected) and click “Add New Page After” or “Add Page Before” from the submenu to add a new Page.

Deleting Page: Select the trash icon at the bottom of the Workspace or right click on the Page and select “Delete Page” from the submenu to remove a Page.

Duplicating a Page: Select the two box + icon at the bottom of the Workspace or right click on the Page and select “Duplicate Page” from the submenu to duplicate a Page.

Reordering Pages: At the moment, Story Pages can only be reordered via the Story Editor so you need to select “Save” in the top right corner of the Workspace and then reorder your Stories by drag and drop in the Story Editor.

Editing a Story title: Story titles can only be edited via the Story Editor so you need to select “Save” in the top right corner of the Workspace to rename your Story via the Story Editor.

Page View Settings

Zooming In/Out

At the bottom right corner of the Workspace, select the zoom dropdown menu.

  • Fit selects the best fit for your Pages

  • Fill will zoom in so the Page fills the full width of the Workspace

  • You can also choose 100% or 200% zoom

Switching to Grid View

At the bottom right corner of the Workspace, select the grid view icon. You can zoom in and out using the slider at the top to check the layout of your Pages. To return to the Workspace, select the “x” in the top left corner.

Saving Your Story Pages

Select “Save” in the top right corner of the Workspace to save your Page(s).
